TX#002 – Concepts, movement and Shrek Wazowski

Progress.
Concepts, story, music, and core systems have been in motion for the past weeks.

Here’s what we can show for now.

Base enemy art concepts

It’s code-name, for now, is Smiley.

Camera & Flashlight

A light source is necessary.
Lighter, flashlight, night vision (maybe); we have a lot of ideas
Each one will behave differently – you can check the flashlight animation below

Movement

It’s in place. Basic for now, but it has what a horror game needs:
Walk. Run. Crouch.

You can run. Just not for long.

City map

The map is no longer a single place.

It’s expanding into something larger.
A town, shaped by both narrative and gameplay.

A new, unknown place

For now, the enemy is… temporary.
We’ve been using the amazing placeholder Shrek Wazowski model from mareduvs to test chase/patrol behavior
